1. Create an ACT web account or log in to your existing account. If you don't already have one, you'll need to create an ACT web account. If you've already registered for the ACT, you should have been prompted to create one.
2. Select "Send Your Scores". Once you're logged into your ACT web account, choose the "Send Your Scores" option.
3. Choose the colleges you want to send scores to. You will then be able to search for the colleges you're applying to and make a list of institutions to which you want to send your ACT scores.
4. Select the test dates. After creating a list of colleges, you will also select the test dates from which you want to send scores.
5. Pay for the score reports. There is a cost associated with sending ACT scores. In the 2024-2025 academic year, it costs $19 per score report. The ACT will provide you with the total cost for all your requested score reports. Once you've reviewed the list, you can proceed to checkout and make your payment.
6. Final checkout and confirmation. After you've made the payment, you'll receive a receipt as well as the expected date by which the scores will be sent to your chosen colleges.
Remember to keep a copy of the receipt as a confirmation that your ACT scores have been sent. Also, don't forget that some colleges are still test-optional, meaning that SAT and ACT scores may not be required for admissions consideration.
